Master Professional Jorge Capestany discusses whether you should only play with better tennis players.
Coach, my rule is my players practice play at their level 55% of the time above their level 35% of the time and below their level 15% of the time. (friendly matches)
So I guess I agree with you in part.
Good luck trying to convince those ‘silly, stupid’ parents and adults.
I prefer to gradually get rid of them; the money is not worth the aggravation. In the long run, such parents are setting up their children for failure.
Just my 2 cents.
I’ve done that too
Do you have the same stance for Adults?
Yes.. it OK to play better players occasionally, just not all the time.
Yes I agree, I actually had to drop down a 1/2 level to clean up some physical parts of my game and get the mental toughness/game strategy to really know how/have confidence to win.
Love it Steve
Great info on playing up! Loved it!
